Sets, operates and maintains machines for bookbinding or in‑line bookbinding, publishers’ edition binding, stationery work, booklet and periodical binding and carries out hand binding operations.

Visits bookshops, schools and other organisations to promote sales.

Makes use of printing languages, images, colour prints and layout softwares to handle customer files; and operates plate-making computers and digital proofing equipment.

Makes ready, sets up, operates and maintains digital printing system, including digital photocopier and inkjet printer.
