Translates selected news items.

Undertakes the leadership of various sections of a newspaper, magazine or website (such as news, finance, sports, entertainment, cable, etc.) and the responsibility for the layouts (including the selection, checking, revising and arranging of the material for publication).

Undertakes the overall production design and development (including its scale, cost and contents). Directs the producers to create the news programmes.

Provides digital design, production and updating for web, mobile and social media.

Assists the Media Planning Director to undertake the client’s investments in media. Negotiates terms with various media, makes strategic planning and client presentation. Involves in new business pitches and documentation.

Assigns work to news photographers.

Writes, in consultation with the editor, comments on topics of currents interests to keep the public informed and to stimulate or mould public opinion in accordance with policies of the publication.
