Removes, cuts, and erects timber fenders for protection of piers, seawalls, dolphins and landing steps, etc.

Lays and fixes prestressing tendons and ducts ; assembles prestressing couplings and anchorages; performs prestressing operation and grouting of ducts.

Performs under-water operations related to inspection, construction and repair of structures and demolition; prepares reports on all the foregoing operations.

Operates one or more types of plant and equipment for construction at sea including derrick, boom-grab bucket and boom-hook.
(This job excludes mariners such as coxswain and barge and dredger crew responsible for the operation of the vessel in contrast with construction plant).

Demolishes, dismantles and removes unauthorised building works.
