Plans, supervises and co-ordinates the quality control and assurance activities alloy technical aspects in all phases of the building construction and civil engineering process to ensure that materials and processes comply with standards, specifications, safety and environmental regulations, especially under the ISO-9000 and ISO-14000 series.

Monitor the environment and investigate sources of pollution by performing laboratory and field tests to solve complex environmental problems that affect public health.

Repairs substandard or spalled concrete or reinforcement bar using concrete or other approved materials.

Obtains basic data and calculates from plans and details, the probable cost of construction projects with reference to factors such as materials, labour, equipment, overheads and profit.

Operates piling machines for driven or bored pile works.

Lays timber, PVC, linoleum and similar flooring materials to floors, stair threads, skirtings, etc.

Performs studies, grows, tends and transplants flowers/shrubbery/ trees/other plants; prepares landscape drawings.
