  • Review the training plan and budget to cope with the manpower requirements.
  • Put more emphasis on mentorship to nourish trust, impact and modelling effect.
  • Provide a better work environment using technologies, additional hardware and shift arrangements.
  • Support the Reindustrialisation and Technology Training Programme, Engineering Graduate Training Scheme (EGTS), VTC Earn & Learn Scheme (ELS) and Pilot Incentive Scheme to Employers (PISE).

  • Make use of the Vplus Engineering subsidy scheme for lifelong learning, to pursue higher qualifications geared towards upward mobility.
  • Attempt trade tests organised by the VTC and CIC to acquire recognition of skill standards and fulfill the licensing/registration requirements.
  • Participate in skills competitions to help to raise the awareness and status of skills and vocational education across society.
  • Provide opportunities to showcase students’ work, skills and talent to the community.
  • Conduct interviews and produce videos with successful graduates to portray a more realistic and compelling picture for prospective students.
  • Offer career counselling and mentoring to students at the early stage of their studies to help them choose the right career path.
  • Strengthen practical training to assure students' readiness to work.
  • Offer more electives in Higher Diploma programmes to better prepare students for employment.
  • Offer more training programmes in Building Information Modeling (BIM), Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA), Multi-trade Integrated MEP (MiMEP), and Modular Integrated Construction (MiC).
